W. C. Skinner, Locksmith W. C. Skinner worked for 45 years in the Coal Mine and Road Construction Business in Lake City, Kentucky. W. C. decided that he needed to pursue a hobby when he retired, so in 1987 he took his tests to become a Lock Smith. He passed that test with flying colors and was soon in business after making some large investments in tools and technologies of the trade. Doris, W.C.’s wife, worked with W.C. after she retired from the County Clerk’s Office after working there many, many years. She accompanied W. C. on every call until her death in May 2000. W.C. has three sons, Steve Skinner who resides in Frankfort, KY, Randy Skinner who resides in Eddyville, KY., and Bobby Skinner who resides in Cadiz, KY  W. C. is proud of his 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
